The heater is great and does exactly what I needed to do. It gives off a good amount of heat, I like the fact that it oscillates. And it was easy to assemble… Just had to add the base. I'm thinking of buying another one. Good product

So far loving this patio heater! I've researched for years but couldn't pull the trigger until now. I like that I can use it on my covered porch and feel safe. The heat output is great for what I need and I haven't used it in any enclosed spaces.

I find the heater puts out a decent amount of heat, although I'm trying it in the summer, so will know more in a few months.

This device is super compact and after you screw in the handle, easy and portable. It gets super hot super fast, so will be perfect for the patio in the winter. Getting the remote open to put in the two AAA batteries is a little bit of a pain, so make sure you have a teeny phillips screwdriver handy. Otherwise, I really like this unit!

We have a fire pit on our deck, but the heat seems to go straight up in the air. I ordered this to provide radiant heat to supplement the fire pit. Although it is still 90 degrees outside, I was able to test all functions of the heater and remote in my dining room. It definitely puts out a lot of heat and the oscillating feature is great to provide heat to a larger area.

My 85-year-old father loves sitting outside no matter what season, but he??s become less tolerant to cold weather. This outdoor heater has allowed him to enjoy watching the snow, rain, and sunsets but stay comfortable. It takes a bit to figure out the instructions only because of some confusing translation, but once you figure it out, it??s easy to operate. When the lights on top are red, you set the temp. When they??re green, you can set the timer. Both can be set with the remote as well. The oscillation feature helps heat a larger area of our patio but there??s no fan to blow the heat out so it??s literally a silent operation. It does have a tip-over safety feature, but the heater doesn??t turn off until it??s tipped at about a 45-degree angle. It has a safety bar around the top at the front which stays cool enough to move the heater if you need to, but the surfaces are hot. I took temps at about 12?? from the back & sides, and they??re certainly hot enough to give you a severe burn. Because there??s no type of safety guard around the unit, I won??t risk using it when my toddler grandchildren are around. But once the heater is turned off, it??s back to a safe temperature in about 15 minutes. Because this heater gives my dad more freedom to enjoy the outdoors in cold weather, it??s invaluable to me. We??ve had no problems with the unit and highly recommend it!

This patio heater is easy to install. 8 heat levels and a timer allow me to adjust the temperature as needed. The remote is a great feature that allows me to easily control the settings from a distance. It is durable and easy to use. One thing that bothers and confuses me is that there is a big warning in the manual that says "outdoor use only" but the ad and product photos on amazon's website show that it can be used both outdoors and indoors.

Bought this for my greenhouse (~10x12), which is very drafty. It's a great heater. Does a good job on the low setting (1-2 out of 8) keeping it in the mid 50s when it's low 40s out. If my space was better insulated this would have no trouble keeping it pleasant. I like the oscillation and the timer option.

This unit is very sleek and easy to store when not in use. The base is weighted nicely and there were only a few quick steps to assemble it with the included screwdriver. I don’t expect miracles on a screened porch, but I was comfortable on a breezy 45 degree night with the heater about 4 feet away on high. That will cover most NC evenings throughout the winter.

The instructions for operation suffer a bit through obvious language translation. However, once understood, through trial and error, the controls are easy.

Excellent heat that heats very quickly, with 8!levels that allow the heat to vary based on the temperature outside and our need. The heater also rotates with use of the remote control. My wife and I are sitting outside eating dinner each night with the temperature at 60, and likely fine as it gets colder further into the fall season here in NY. As constructive feedback only, it would be helpful if the heater could be started up and the rotation controlled more easily with buttons on the heater itself, where not as reliant on using the remote. The temperature once on can be easily adjusted a knob and with eight lights at the top. There also is a timer that seems easily controlled, but as in one hour increments we have not as yet used. Last observation of ours to share is it would be better if the heater was 6 inches or so taller, or otherwise emanated heat 6 inches higher, so that the heat reached my head and shoulders while being closer to me. Overall we are very happy with our purchase several weeks ago. So far so good!

This patio heater is big and covers a lot of area. We have a 12x18 patio and it keeps that area relatively warm. I like how it oscillates so the heat is disbursed and it has tip over and overheat features to help keep your home safe. It??s easy to set up and use, there is minimal assembly required. I like that it??s electric, I don??t like dealing with and storing propane, and it??s a much more cost effective heating solution.

This is a 33" tower heater for large rooms. It states it's a patio heater but also lists as indoor/outdoor. The heater heats up our room evenly and rather quickly. The heater covers 200 sq ft. It is pretty quite - but to be honest, I love the humming sound. The heater can be set on 8 heating levels and has an 8 hour timer. The heater oscillates. The heater has several safety features. It has tip over protection and it will automatically shut off if tipped over. It has overheat protection and will automatically shut off if it overheats. These safety features really give me a peace of mind. The heater can be controlled by remote. The remote does require batteries and they are not included.

This is a Thermomate Electric Outdoor Patio Heater, . Its sleek and tall design is much better than the bulky, square ones I knew and grew up with. This alone is great just for the versatility in where you can have it, but also how it has more area to heat up the room with! Most heaters are somewhat of a hazard especially if you have multiple people over or a bunch of little ones running around, but this is possibly the most efficient and safe heater out on the market. It has multiple precautions to ensure that it is a really safe design which is very much appreciated for the worst of case scenarios. This is obviously manufactured by a company that loves and cares for their consumers, definitely recommend it!

This is a really impressive heater. It has a nice, slender/sleek design and it??s just the right size??.a big change from the blocky looking square heaters you might normally buy. I??ve used it both in our living room and out on our open patio, it has performed admirably in both situations. It comes with a very helpful instruction manual, though it??s not that complicated at all. You simply plug it in, turn it on, and within seconds it starts warming up. You can set it to rotate so it that it operates similarly to a fan. I love that feature, and You should be warned to makes sure you keep children and animals away from this (if possible); it??s gets hot enough to where it could cause an injury. And you also want to make sure you put the fireproof bracket on it so as to ensure it doesn??t accidentally topple over and cause a fire.
