Very easy to install and worked great! I’ve only had it for a month but so far so good!
So far so good, flip on the power worked perfectly as it was supposed to, bought it because exactly like my rinkmo, took rinkmo down put up Thermomate have rinkmo for spare parts, I have really hard water after 2 one half yrs. Heating block clogged up with calcification now I have extra heating block that I can clean and interchange with Thermomate.
The customer service people were very helpful in assisting us on which unit to purchase, based on our intended use. The product arrive well packaged. It was easy to install and as you can see it doesn’t take up too much space, it’s quiet and works perfect. The water temperature is just what we needed.
Very easy to install, used sharkbite fittings, pex and reused some old copper put shut offs on hot and cold sides so I can totally isolate the unit. Put the two 40 amp breakers in and pulled the appropriate wire. $400 dollars total! Works great it's just the wife and I in the house 99% of the time the 18k provides all the hot water we need, I have it set on 125 degrees. It's never fluctuated on the temperature once I decided on 125. 100% satisfied.
I love this water heater! Works great and very small size but powerful! It is efficient with constant hot water. Absolutely, recommend this brand 👍🏼.
So we installed this in the wife’s daycare that’s licensed for 35-40 kids and it’s working great! The electric wasn’t installed yet at time of pic, but good hot water to all 4 of her sinks for dishes and handwashing. Followed specs for everything and works great!

This was a replacement for a tankless system that was 16 yrs old. Installed today and I just had the best shower ever. Of course, I've been without hot water for a week, so that might not mean much. We also added hot and cold water service valves and a pressure relief valve. Should be a nice incentive when I sell the house.
Went in fairly easy. Just a little drip that went away after a couple days. Does a great job of heating the water. The hot water takes as long as the tank heater to get to your spigot but the difference is that you don't run out like with the tank heater. We can now fill the big tub and take long back to back showers.It cost me a fortune because I did not have enough space in my service for 6 #8 wires 3 double 40a breakers. But my panel was due for upgrade anyway. I put mine right into the old tank closet. I was concerned that the documents called for 12" clearance at the sides. I only had about 8" but I have noticed no great heat to the sides.I hope it lasts a long time but I am pleased now.

We would have never been able to get it to work without the help of online support. And my brother has 25 years background in home repairs. The way the wires are hooked up to the fuse box is not like you would think. You need to specify that it is 4/120v hot & a ground not 2 & 2 like you would think. But with online help, we got it work.
I like how this unit uses two 110 circuits allowing the use of less expensive wiring. Also the ability to set the water temp to a degree is really much better than the 3 gal. tanked heater we had under the sink previously. And we are using less elec. now to have quick hot water at our kitchen sink. This unit has a good flow rate and feeds our dishwasher and sink faucet no problem. Also was easy to install.
Just installed today. It replaced a thermoflo 18kw that caught fire a few days after a little over a year of use That one was an 18kw and this one is an 11kw and far out performs the 18. There's no fluctuations in temp and heats up faster. We have a small farm house on well water but this little guy doesn't care about pressure loss nor the cold water. It just does it's job. All that's required of it is one shower and a bathroom sink so I hope it last for many years. If any faults it's the manufactures recommendation on using 12awg wire with the 2 30 amp breakers. We have no codes where we live but it's not recommended to use 12awg wire and 10awg wire is. Many inspectors would fail the installation if 12awg was used. Personally I went with the 10awg, especially after having my other tankless heater catching fire. It was a fault in the heating element but it's always better to over do than under do when it comes to electricity. I highly recommend this little unit.

After many searches and reading reviews from other sites this was a great purchase. We use it at our camp which replaced a 50 gal electric hot water heater. Unit heats up fast and also love the 1 degree option. No issue with using shower and kitchen sink. Camp has 2 sinks and 1 shower. Simple hook up with some knowledge of electricity and plumbing.For those that give bad reviews, I found they do not read the descriptions. Many state that it did not come with breakers, or did not heat well do to using smaller wire size.IT IS IN the description and pictures. We bought the 18kw and also looked at the 27kw. Both state what they need for amps, how many breakers, wire size, Which you could look up for what AWG for specific amps. and states it does NOT come with breakers or wire. It works on 240 volts so you need 2pole breakers and 2 home runs of #8/3 AWG wire. If its a long run over 100 ft. from electrical panel, use #6AWG you can over size the wire but never undersize the wire.27kw 3- 40 amp 2 pole breakers with #8 AWG wire18kw 2-40 amp 2 pole breakers with #8 AWG wireif your not knowledgeable use and electrician
We installed this in our hunting lodge to feed hot water to a bathroom. It sends hot water to a shower and sink and never misses a beat!! Our water temp. in the mountains is 50 degrees F. and has no problem heating the water. we have it set to 120 degrees and the water temp. is 120 on full hot. Make sure you use two 30A breakers and 10g. wire. This is an excellent product, just make sure you install it correctly.
Got my 1st electric bill and it literally cut it down more than half I should have done this year ago I was suggested if this one goes bad for some reason I'm getting another one ,it was a great solution to getting solar panels I can't believe it
